Cinnamon or Dalchini is a universal spice and especially found in Sri Lanka. It has a special place in Indian cuisine too. From adding a unique flavour and enhancing the taste of your special Biryani to your Chole, it has mulitpurpose uses. It has also proved to be medicinal and cuts down on your cholesterol level. I’m a diabetic and add it to my tea to cut down the sugar levels. It has beneficial value in arthritis and can prove to be a miracle in many other ailments. Add it to your cappuccino and enjoy it. You an also use it sweeten your cakes and other sweets. Such a versatile spice is Cinnamon!
